Levar Burton’s soothing sleep story voice disappeared from her ears as she shoved the Bluetooth eye mask up her forehead. There was the occasional astrological apocalypse or stink-bombing gone wrong. Blue Moon was a small, sleepy sort of town. In Deputy Layla Gunnarson’s experience, pounding on her front door after midnight was never a good thing. Thank you for your review. If you’re new to the Blue Moon series, Lucy highly recommends you give the hippie, dippy, nosy town a read! ( Very intense author note: DO NOT READ THE PREQUEL FIRST. I am looking forward to more!!! This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

The best part is that this is only the first book in the series. There is action throughout the book, making it difficult to press pause.

There is something eerie about this story which is possibly what captivates the audience and entertains the listener. However, they are each other's chance for escape, survival and love. He instantly recognises Dora for what she is, which is more than human and an enemy of werewolves.

In this underground lab she meets Dirk, an Alpha werewolf. She represents hope and the possibility that humans can survive the zombie apocalypse. She remains in isolation as a lab subject to be studies for her immunity. A few weeks later and Dora has not changed. Most humans turn within two days of being bitten. In the process of her work she is bitten and instantly taken into custody to be isolated. There is a virus that is turning humans into cannibalistic zombies. I really enjoyed it! Dora is a doctor in a world gone terribly wrong. This story is set in a world we recognise, which only adds to the allure. This audiobook has everything - action, nail-biting adventure, magic, feel-good romance, mayhem and more! Eva Gordon is a weaver of tales that somehow blend myth, folklore and magic with a world we can relate to. High energy, action-packed, fun to listen to!
